David De Anda Y La Ley

At last, at last; he's home at last. That is the way we here at Discos MM feel about David De Anda and his group. David has always been a great musician, from his early years as the lead voice of Los Chamacos de Raul De Anda with his first cousin Jaime, to forming the group Los Chavolos . This seemed to be the end of David De Anda's conjunto career for at this time a great group was bom on the Tejano scene. David De Anda and friends started the award winning group Xelencia. After working with this group for the last 12 years, David De Anda has come back to his true calling, conjunto. This is what it is all about, pure and simple conjunto music at it's best, yes David De Anda is back where he belongs.

In his prior studio release, La Chancia David shows his heart and soul for this type of music. The blending of vocals with accordion and bajo sexto make you want to dance and sing. David's latest studio effort shows his unique style of musicianship. Foir Del Campo is a blend of all that is Tejano, Music For the Soul.
